Ta Ku Hou 塌堀后 is a rare type of Feng Huang Dan Cong Oolong Tea. It is named by its original place Ta Ku Hou 塌堀后, which is a place of Fengxi Danhu Village of Phoenix Town (Feng Huang Zhen) of Chaozhou.
The altitue of Fengxi Danhu Village is 1369m. It is even higher than most of the places of Wudong Mountain.
Ta Ku Hou belongs to the Huang Zhi Xiang 黄栀香 family by flavor.
It has tightly bold tea body, and the color is browish red. The frarance of Ta Ku Hou is high strong, and carries obvious Gardenia flower flavor, and also some drinkers feel the kind of sugar cane sweet flavor. The brewing liquor is orange yellow and taste brisk mellow. It lasts infusions and the leaf texture is soft, even and bright with red edge.
