It is on Apr.12th 2025 in Gua Feng Zhai of Yiwu, Xishuangbanna. At 7:00am, the tea pluckers gathered before the farmer’s house and waited for the truck to send them to the farwaway Chaping tea garden. Gua Feng Zhai is a village mainly residented by Yao Race.
The truck stopped at the road end after driving for around 40 mins. The rest road is all under the rainforest and has to go by foot.
Actully there is no formal road. The tea pluckers go along a stream all the way.
After walking for around one and half an hours, the tea pluckers arrived in the tea garden. There is a simple cottage in the tea garden for rest.
After the long journey, they need take a rest and a cup of hot tea, before working.
It is the time to find the blood suckers and remove them.
To speak frankly, most of the tea trees in Xiashuangbanna Region is not so big old. The age of the tea trees in this garden is around 80-150 years. While the tea quality from such clean and nautral souroundings is really superb.
This is a capable and beautiful tea lady.
