The blooming tea is made up of tea leaves wrapped around dried flowers. This type of tea is hand crafted by binding tea leaves and flowers together in a bulb and then it is left to dry. When this bundle of dry flowers and leaves is steeped in hot water, it expands – resulting into an elegant blooming flower. The blooming flowers in hot water are the one that will capture the most attention.

The blooming tea is derived from the Fujian province of China. Mostly commonly used flowers in the flowering tea include lily, hibiscus, globe amaranth, jasmine, osmanthus, and chrysanthemum. Serve blooming tea in a glass container to see the beautiful flower unfurl in front of you. The teas are all hand-made according to the Chinese traditional stories.

How it is made:

1 The silver needle tea with long stalk is bundled together to make the base of the blooming tea.
