Lapsang Souhong is the world earliest black tea. It had been renowned for its excellent quality.
We were going to the Tong Mu Guan of Fujian, where is the origin place of the black Tea Lapsang Souchong.
We found out the below a few factors to make the fine quality of Lapsang Souchong.
1. The tea garden is located in the good ecological mountains with dense forestry. Tong Mu Guan is inside the National Wuyi Natural Park. Here the environment has been well protected. The altitude of Tong Mu Guan is around 560m. It has rich rain and cloudy mist to form the quality content of tea.
2. The tea garden is very rocky, which supplies the tea with rich minerals, and relatively less nitrogen fertilizer. the tea has sharp mellower taste and less astringency.
3. The tea planted in the Tong Mu Village is traditional seed growing mixed tea cultivar. Which is the good to make fine quality black tea.
4. The production season of Lapsang Souchong is May and June, when it is the best timing to to make the black tea.
This is the Lapsang Souchong Mao Cha. (The traditional export Lapsang Souchong will be cut short. Because in the past it can pack more quantity for transportation by the way )
