Nowadays there are some so claimed Tai Ping Hou Kui which is made from elsewhere of Taiping County, and made by machine. Customers might want to know how to differentiate the real Tai Ping Hou Hui and fake Tai Ping Hou Kui. We woul like  to explain here that fake Tai Ping Hou Kui made by machine is very thin. Because the machine compress the tea leaves tightly. While the real Tai Ping Hou Kui is compressed by wooden mode using manual force, so it looks fat thick. and there are cloth mark on the tea body. (Because the tea will be covered by a layer of cloth before the wooden mode compression to protect the tea leaves from violently damage)

Real Tai Ping Hou Kui

The real Tai Ping Hou Kui is thick and there are cloth pattern marks on the tea body.
