Interestingly in the rainforest of Xishuangbanna, there are Gao Gan Gu Shu Cha, Very tall ancient tea tree. The height can reach 20-30 meters, because of the the special growing sourroundings in the tropical rainforest. Gao Gan Gu Shu is a rare tea, while becoming hot in the past few years. We are thinking if it is ‘ethical’ to get these teas. Because it seems the farmer tea pluckers risk their lives harvesting it by climbing to so high collecting the tender tea shoots by hand.
