This is the 2018 crop of Huo Shan Huang Ya from the tea garden in Da Bie Shan of Huo Shan. It just come up today. Due to the good season this year, the tea gives so charming floral flavor. And the taste is mature mellow with pleasant sweet aftertaste.
Huo Shan Huang Ya is one of the Chinese famous Yellow Teas.
Yellow Tea is a mutation from Green Tea. In Processing, the Yellow Tea will pile-yellow for a few hours after rolling, which Green Tea doesn’t have. And this processing make the taste of yellow tea mature sweeter than green tea. But the green tea taste fresher.
The other famous Chinese yellow teas are Jun Shan Yin Zhen and Meng Ding Huang Ya.
