Today is Chinese Qing Ming Festival. It is just the tea season!
This is the 2018 crop Shou Mei White Tea of Fuding orgigin.
It is made by grown one bud two leaves or three leaves from the Fuding dabai cultivar.
Chinese white tea generally has three grades in terms of leaf material standard, Silver Needle, White Peony (Bai Mu Dan), Gong Mei and Shou Mei. They are fresh tea leaves withered to dry, with slight fermentation, and rich in anti-oxidants and catechins EGCG.
This Shou Mei white tea is very well made!
