Dong Fang Mei Ren-Oriental Beauty is the famous Taiwan Oolong Tea. Its fermentation extent is intermediate and the roasting is light. And the top quality is made after the tea leaves are bitten by Green Leaf Hopper (Empoasca pirisuga Matumura). It is studied that after the tea leaves are bitten, a special aromatic material will produce, which make the tea gives a fascinating honey flavor.
We are tasting four samples of Oriental Beauty side by side. It was found that the A1 has the honey flavor, and it has brisk sweet aftertaste.
Upon check of brewed tea leaves, black dots are found, which is the indication of insect bite.
