Chinese Gong Fu Cha is originated in Chaozhou of Guangdong. It is the traditional service of tea in Chinese style. And now it is very popular in Chinese tea houses. This is a brief introduction of Gong Fu Cha tea service. It consists ten steps to prepare the tea.
1 Display the tea equipments 列具
2 Heat up the spring water 烹泉
3 Clean the tea equipments 净器
4 Appreciate the tea 赏茶
5 Add the tea to Gaiwan 投茶
6 Add in hot water 提壶高冲
7 Remove the floating bubble 刮沫净茶
8 Wash the Cups 洁杯
9 Distribute the tea 斟茶
10 Serve the tea 敬茶
The tea equipment is simple. It needs just a water heater, a tea tray, a Gaiwan, A big cup公道杯, a set of small tea accesories eg. tea spoon and a few tea cups.
