This is the material to make jasmine pearl green tea. It is the silver needle tea with carry long stalk. It is made from the Fuding Dabai tea cultivar plucked in around Qing Ming time. The long stalk is necessary to roll into the round pearl. The rolling work is all conducted by hand by skilled tea farmers.
Many people are wondering tea stalk is no use. Actually tea stalk can also be brewed, and the tea leaf with stalk has good deep mellow taste.
The jasmine scenting will be conducted a bit later when the jasmine flower season come. It can be scented with jasmine flower three times, five times. Some will be scented for seven times.
