This is the organic Wuyi Lao Cong Shui Xian.
There are three most famous Wuyi tea cultivars. They are Da Hong Pao, Rou Gui and Shui Xian. Among them, Shui Xian is the most traditional and widely planted tea cultivar in Wuyi. Actually most of the Wuyi tea farmers call Shui Xian as Cai Cha 菜茶, which means a tea planted around Cai Yuan-Vegetable garden. (Chinese farmers have the tradition of owning a small vegetable garden around the house for daily vegetables). It means Shui Xian tea tree in Wuyi is part of the life of the Wuyi farmers, more than a commodity produce. As compared to Da Hong Pao and Rou Gui, Shui Xian is not so fragrant by cultivar (Pin zhong Xiang) as the other two, but it is more outstanding in taste (The full-bodied mouth feeling and lingering sweet aftertaste). In Wuyi, there is a saying, 醇厚不过水仙-No better taste than Shui Xian.Specified for the Lao Cong Shui Xian, we can use only one word to describe its special quality character, SWEET. The kind of sweetness is pure and clear, no interruption by a confusing flavor. The three times of charcoal roasting endows its with mature sweetness, accompanied with a charming roasting camellia, coffee like flavor. And the old tree (Lao Cong) growing ecologically gives the deepness in taste. It is the oolong tea. While in the end aftertaste, we can notice the similar feeling as Darjeering Black.
