Yiwu 易武 is one of the Six Tea Mountains (六大茶山), famous for pu-erh tea in Yunnan. It in Menglai County of Xishuangbanna. It is one of the few Chinese places located in tropical zone. There are quite a few villages in Yiwu producing pu-erh tea. They are Ma Hei, Luo Shui Dong, Ding Jia Zhai, Wan Gong, Man Xiu, Tong Qing He and Gua Feng Zhai. Among them, Gua Geng Zhai is most renowned for its strong wild camellia flavor, fast transformation of taste, and deep sweet aftertaste quality.
It is in the middle of March of 2023, the tea grows in the tropical climate already start harvesting.
Yiwu is a mountain town of Menglai County. The area of low land of Menglai are planted by a lot of rubber trees. While in the high mountain of Yiwu, rubber trees are not adaptive. So a lot of rainforests are preserved in Yiwu.

There is a gate in front of the town. 
This is Ma Hei village. It is around 10km away from the town center.
There is a tiny road after Ma Hei village, which leads to Gua Feng Zhai around 20km away.
The road winds its way up and down in the rainforest.
Three kilometers before the Gua Feng Zhai village, there is a stand of Natural Reserve by Xishuangbanna government.
